We just got back from girls camp yesterday and Calli, my Dad(he's a "Camp Dad"), and I had a ton of fun! There were rock climbing walls and bugees for us to do.
We went canoing and swimming in the lake.
For our skit, Tori and Pearl played Brother Morris(my dad goes to girls camp every year with us so they have a priesthood holder there)and Brother Mavity(They are both now known as Bro Mo and Bro Ma). Notice the creative touch on Tori's eyebrow to play Bro Mo? They tried to dress and act just like them.
Secret Sisters are so much fun!
The Camp Dads did a skit and they sang a song called "I'm a Mormon." When the second time to sing the song came around, they held up posters with the words so everyone could sing along with them. However, they didn't know they had misspelled "mormon" to be "moron." They were up there singing "...so you can be a Mormon too..." while everyone else was singing "...so you can be a MORON too..." They had no idea and we told them afterwards. Hats were made for them that said "CAMP MORONS" on them. HAHA. I'm trying to upload that video but its taking FOREVER! Next year I'll be a youth leader and Calli will be a 3rd year so we're both really excited! Hope everyone's enjoying their summer!

Steadfast & Immovable...Always Abounding in Good Works
Youth Conference was last weekend and I still haven't posted pictures, so here they are. This year, youth conference was such a good experience! I learned so much and felt so good during whatever we were doing. It started out last Wednesday night with the trek video from last years youth conference(which was great-the video made everyone cry!), and they an In-N-Out truck for dinner on Thursday and that kicked off the rest of the weekend. The speakers (Kory Kunz and Michael McLean)were amazing! I've never been excited to go listen to speakers, but this time they were definitely one of my favorite parts! That's almost all you heard during the testimony meeting, how much everyone loved their talks. the testimony meeting was so spiritual and two non-members even bore their testimonies! One of my really good friends even came! We got to go to the beach, a couple dances(the last one was very pretty), and do a really awesome service project. We helped renovate a pretty old and not very clean school in not the best location. We painted murals all over the school and inside some of the classrooms with hundreds of other volunteers. There are some amazing ones, so I'll post those too. I've never enjoyed a service project so much either! I liked this project specifically I think because I knew I was helping change kids' lives for the better. Helping renovate that school made me feel so much more grateful for the things I take for granted...and my health! I felt like I would get sick just being there. Overall, youth conference was one of the best experiences I've ever had! BTW: Kory Kunz is an amazing singer and songwriter and piano player and he sang and played us some of his songs. They all have a story behind them, which he told us a lot about! He's got a couple of CD's out through Deseret Book, but if anyone's interested in listening to samples of his songs...here's the link.

Relay for Life
The Relay this year was so much fun! We didn't relay for anyone specific this year, however we walked a lot! We spent the night in a tent and Calli and Abby slept outside...it was COLD! They really wanted to though and actually went throught with it! Abby's girl scout troop came and served dinner to our campsite. How nice! I had enough hair (ahem...10 INCHES!) to donate it...oh man! I did not like it at all when I got it cut! I've gotten it styled since though and I do like it now! The only problem now is that I actually have to make sure I have time to do it! Ugh. Oh well. We had a ton of fun this year at the Relay and we hope EVERYBODY joins Nathan's team next year and walks with us!
Okay. This is the difference between boys and girls. Girls will play the game and the boys will destroy it.
Ha! Good Morning, Sunshines!
